Welcome to Second Grade!

We are off to a great start!  We are learning and growing so much each day!  The students are studying about rocks and fossils.  A paleontologist will visit on November 7th to talk to the students about the importance of fossils and what fossils can tell us about life long ago. She will also teach the students how to become amateur paleontologists.  Who knows, maybe there is a fossil in your backyard just waiting to be discovered!

Parents, the best way to contact me is with a written note, especially for matters of an urgent nature. You could also leave me a voicemail.  Please keep in mind that I check my voicemail at lunch time and at the end of each day. If you contact me by email please allow me 2 to 3 days to respond.

Extra help is provided to students who are exhibiting difficulties in certain subject areas.  If you feel your child needs extra help, please contact me.
