Do you like gods and Greek mythology? If not, you will love it after this fantastic book! This story takes place in New York at a place called Camp Halfblood for demigods. In case you were wondering, a demigod is a person who has one immortal (god) and one mortal parent. This fabulous book is about Percy Jackson, who is the son of Poseidon! Wow! Just imagine having a Greek god for a parent! Percy goes on a quest with two of his friends to find out who had stolen Zeus’ lightning bolt.
I love this awesome book and you will too because it’s descriptive, challenging, and it is about Greek mythology.
It is descriptive because the author puts the sentences together so well that you can really understand the book. It is challenging because it really gets you thinking about what is going on in the story. It is about Greek mythology because most of the characters are Greek monsters and Gods such as the Minotaur, Zeus, and Poseidon.
Someone has stolen Zeus’ lightning bolt. Who could it be? It is up to young, brave Percy and his loyal friends to find out. On their long, hard, quest they run into tough Ares, scary Medusa, and dark Hades. Will Percy find the suspect, or will he be doomed forever?
You’ll see! Read this engaging story, The Lightning Thief.
As you can see, this book is awesome! I recommend it to anyone who loves fantasy and Greek mythology. It is filled with Gods and monsters, and anyone who reads it is going to love it. Even if someone hates reading fantasy and mythology, they will change their mind after this book.

“Watch out for the spud gun!” Marty told his brother Will. For my book review I chose The Legend of Spud Murphy for many reasons. I loved this book because it is funny, suspenseful and it is an easy read. This book is awesome because it’s fun to read, has interesting characters, and you never want to put it down.
Will and Marty Woodmen love inviting friends over, but when their dad finds out they had a make-up war with their mom’s make make-up
they get in big trouble . Of course, the three little brothers, Donnie, Bert, and HP, don’t get in trouble because they just put on puppy faces, and they’re off the hook. Will and Marty are sent to waste their summer at the library where the evil librarian, Spud Murphy, watches over them. She has a gas powered spud gun, and they never know if she is lurking around the corner with her spud gun ready to spud them.
In conclusion, I think this book is awesome, and I highly recommend it to anyone.
It has lots of suspense, is funny is an easy read, and it will keep you on the edge of your seat.

Diary of a Wimpy Kid
Jeff Kinney
Diary of a Wimpy Kid is an amazing book! This book is really funny, exciting, and I can relate to it in many ways. This is a book about a family who faces ordinary problems that real families have to face. The way the book is written is really cool because it is in a diary form. It is like a real kid wrote the book, from home. Kids can relate to it, because Kinney writes just like a kid would write about his feeling and what happens in his life. Diary of a Wimpy Kid is the best book in the whole world, it is hilarious, exciting, and many people can relate to it.
Diary of a Wimpy Kid is about an ordinary family that consists of five family members. There are Mom and Dad, who are very protective of their kids, Rodrick, who is the oldest out of three brothers and is a trouble maker, and Greg, the main character, who is in the middle of the two brothers. Within the family, Rodrick always tries to get Greg in trouble, and Greg has a younger brother who looks up to him. Even though his youngest brother looks up to him, Manny tries to get Greg in trouble too. Mom and Dad protect Manny and always believe him over Greg. Rowley, Greg’s best friend, does everything with Greg. This is a typical family in America. The funniest part is when Manny draws a picture in permanent marker on Greg’s door, and Greg thinks that Manny is going to be in trouble. Mom and Dad said it was beautiful, and Manny didn’t get in trouble! It is exciting because you never know what hilarious prank Rowley and Greg are going to pull next. I can relate to this book because I have a best friend who I do everything with, I think that everyone does. I also have a younger brother that can do whatever he wants, and he never gets in trouble. My mother and father protect him a lot more than they protect me; they are a lot alike Greg’s parents.

I think this book is awesome, funny, exciting, and I think anyone can relate to it. I without a doubt recommend it to kids within the ages of nine to thirteen that have a younger brother who gets them into trouble. Pretty much, any kid in America that enjoys a good laugh will enjoy this book!

What? Huh? The plane left without me?! Now I must survive out here even longer! This book is the groundbreaking sequel to Hatchet in which Brian is never rescued. It is about how he survives his biggest threat yet, winter. I believe this is the most spectacular book ever by the greatest author ever, Gary Paulsen, it is a heart racing book that you can’t put down, everyone should read this book because it is very adventurous. I felt like I had been in the wild right there with Brian after reading the book. After reading this book I had to read every Gary Paulsen book.
The story, Brian’s Winter is very well crafted because it is so exciting, you never know what’s around the corner. The main character, Brian, is vividly described, and because of that I could always picture exactly what he looked like. I enjoyed Gary Paulsen’s theme of survival. Anyone who enjoys the outdoors would like this book. The setting, the Canadian woods, fits the story well because many thrilling events take place in the woods like when Brian encountered the moose. After reading this book prepare for the need to read all of the Gary Paulsen books! This is an edge of your seat read!
Overall, this book is excellent, and anyone who enjoys adventure would be unable to put it down. It is most extraordinary book ever! I recommend this to anyone who enjoys suspense, adventure, and excitement.

Does your imagination take you anywhere you want to go? If so, then Anne of Green Gables is the right book for you! I absolutely loved this book because the author crafts the words so beautifully that the words themselves could make up the story (along with the characters and plot, of course), and it takes you places that you have never imagined possible!
Anne of Green Gables is about a young, orphaned, red-headed girl named Anne Shirley whose imagination brings her to a multitude of places. This book takes you through the ups and the downs of Anne’s experiences in her new life at Green Gables. Trust me, the adventures you will go through will keep you on the edge of your seat! In my opinion, the funniest part, which happens to be my favorite part, is when Diana comes to Anne’s house for tea. If you want to know what happens, I guess you will just have to read the book. You will fall in love with loquacious Anne, loyal Diana, kind Matthew, strict Marilla, and inquisitive Mrs. Rachel Lynde, just like I did. These characters are one of many reasons why I adored Anne’s story. Once you’ve started this book, the characters draw you in almost immediately, and you will not be able to put it down!
Just to warn you, as you read this novel you will be drawn into the world of Green Gables and its characters. Anne of Green Gables is a historical fiction story that I strongly recommend you read sometime in your life!

About to begin a nail-biting, action-packed, adventure, twelve year-old Percy Jackson finds himself face-to-face with Ares, god of destruction, war, and cowardice. Percy knows that if he loses this confrontation it would be all over for him, his friends, and the whole world. If he loses this, the whole journey would be pointless.
I think that this book is “mind-blowingly” awesome because it’s filled with action, mystery, and always keeps you hooked; you will never ever want to put it down.
This book was a thriller of a tale!! It is an ‘A+++’ book and should win every award possible. The story mainly takes place in big cities and a magical place called Camp Half-Blood. Camp Half-Blood is a place where the half-gods train and are safe from monster attacks. At this camp, Percy meets two new friends Annabeth and Grover; he also gets a quest from the Oracle of Delphi to find Zeus’s missing lighting bolt. If he and his new friends don’t find the bolt in time, there will be a monstrous god-war, destroying the earth.
This book is filled with magic and action as Percy and his are constantly being hunted down by monsters. They fight ancient Greek monsters, gods and everything in between, with the little magic they have. The Lightning Bolt will keep you hooked because the author always presents a new problem for the characters to face. Can Percy find the lightning bolt?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?
Now that have heard about this MARVELOUS, MIRACULOUS book, how magically action packed, this book is so amazing it will keep the reader hooked. So don’t you think you should read it and find out what happens? Who lives? Who dies? And who will be crowned victorious? Will Percy and his friends reach the lightning bolt first? READ IT!!

Did you just say you hate Greek Gods? Wow! So are you saying you have never read the Lightning Thief? Well then, if you haven’t read it yet I HIGHLY recommend it to you because it is action-packed and it will be hard to put down because of its thrilling events!
This book is written by Rick Riordan who, in my opinion, is the BEST author ever! This story is about a boy named Percy Jackson who gets kicked out of boarding school more than six times! Now He is sent to a camp called Camp Halfblood which is a camp for half bloods. A lot of the kids there are the sons/daughters of Greek Gods. Percy found out that he is the son of Poseidon, the Greek sea god. Poseidon and Percy go on a miraculous adventure that leads to many troubles and many exciting moments.
In this story Percy fights many gods and monsters from Greek mythology. This adventure is lead by Percy, Grover, and Annabeth. Apparently, Zeus is missing his master bolt and he is blaming Percy’s dad Poseidon. And now Percy must find the master bolt, or the fight may never end. Will Percy find the master bolt with his friends? Or will Percy’s dad and Zeus keep fighting until the whole world is destroyed? You must read the book to find out. Trust me; you will love Greek mythology after you read this.
