: There are many musical opportunites here at the Howe-Manning School.  We currently offer two bands; a Beginning Band for fourth grade students and first year players and an Advanced Band for fifth and sixth graders or second and third year players.

We also offer all students an opportunity to perform in a choral concert once each year.  There is fourth, fifth and sixth grade chorus.  All performances take place at the Masconomet  Junior High auditorium with chorus performing at 6:30 p.m., instrumental ensembles at 7:30 p.m.

CONTINUING this year!!  Howe-Manning has a Jazz Band that began last year. The second session of Jazz Band is due to begin in February 2008. Look for details soon.  There are still openings for electric guitar, bass guitar and trumpet.

Howe-Manning performing groups have already peformed for the Middleton Board of Trade, the annual radio-a-thon for Sen. Bruce Tarr in December, at the Middleton Senior Center, at the State House in Boston, and for the Town of Middleton Memorial Day Parade and Chief Wills Day parade.
