Grade 2: Just some suggestions to aid your child's progress at home: Reading: Your child should be reading a minimum of ten minutes per night. Please refer to book lists I have sent home that are at the appropriate level for your child. When reading to your child, stop and ask questions or ask them to give you a retelling of what has happened so far in the story. This will help them with comprehension. Sight words: please practice the sight word lists that have been sent home. |
