Homework: Typically homework is sent home Monday through Thursday. As always sight word practice, math fact practice and reading will benefit your child. Thursday night's homework is a game which is kept at home to practice concepts and to have fun with your child while they learn. To help your child learn coins and their value keep a jar with coins. For now pennies, nickels, and dimes. Play, If you can count it you can keep it. Children name and count coins and keep what they were able to count. This may be one way to motivate your child to learn the coin names and their values.
Time Practice Please review time to the hour and half hour. We have worked with time to the hour and are now learning time to the half hour. An example of the language used during the lessons are: Half past six or six thirty
