Homework: For the first half of second grade, homework should take approximately 20 minutes. The time is increased to 30 minutes for the second half of the year. In general, students have homework Monday through Thursday afternoon. In addition to written work, students are expected to read and study math fact sets each night. Completed reading sheets are due every Friday.

Classroom Policies: Please contact me if you think your child needs extra help so we can discuss this. Extra help is typically given for a period of six to eight weeks. Lunch money for the week or milk money for the week is collected on Mondays. |
