Homework: Term 1 - expect to see: Spelling: M, T, W, Th Language Arts: M, T, W, Th Math: M, T, W, Th
During term 1, written homework should take no more than 30 minutes. Reading Fluency: Weekly plays to practice nightly Read 20 Minutes & Study Math Facts: every night!

Classroom Policies:
* Most notices and corrected papers will be going home on Fridays. Look in your student's backpack! *Please note that homework assignments will be noted on the weekly assignment sheet. *Reading Logs should be signed by parents every night.

Classroom Activites/Long Term Projects:
Monday 11/10, Spirit Wear - red, white, & blue. Tuesday 11/11, No School in observance of Veteran's Day. Picture re-take day is Thursday, 11/13. Wednesday 11/26, 12:15 Dismissal. No School Thursday and Friday 11/27 & 28 for the Thanksgiving Holiday. Term 1 Report Cards will be going home on Friday, December 5. Parent Conferences are December 10th and 11th. November Challenge* Assignment: Social Studies: Build a model of an Algonquin Village. *Challenge Assignments are always optional .
