Kindergarten

Homework:

  • Homework is sent home on the days your child attends school.  Your child will receive homework everyday he/she attends kindergarten. Please return it in a timely manner.  See homework guidelines for further specifics.
  • Please continue to work on sound/letter relationships.
  • While working on homework, encourage your child to listen for the beginning , middle, and ending sounds of words.

Classroom Policies:

  • Please remember to label all of your child's belongings.  This includes folders, backpacks, lunch boxes, coats, hats, etc,
  • Please place all notes, lunch money, milk money, and homework in your child's folder.  It is easier for them to hand in the papers if they are all located in the same place.
  • During the winter season, please practice with your child putting their mittens/gloves in their hat, and their hat into the sleeve of their coat.  This will help with the organization of winter clothing items.
  • If your child wears snowboots to school, please send in another pair of shoes (sneakers or shoes) for them to wear during the day in the classroom and specials.
