The Visual Arts Program is designed to introduce students to a wide variety of art processes that correspond directly to the Massachusetts Visual Arts Curriculum Frameworks. Students will explore many different media and techniques as they work through their creative thinking skills to achieve a finished product. Students are encouraged to work cooperatively, innovatively and experimentally as they discover how to use and manage the materials at hand.

Please do not hesitate to contact me with any questions or concerns you may have. The best way to reach me is through email. I am at Howe Manning on Mondays and Tuesdays from 11:15 until the end of the day. The rest of the week I am at Fuller Meadow School.

Square 1 Art Fundraiser:

Keep an eye out for packets and information coming home this fall!

 

 

 

Classroom Procedures:

Students are to enter the art room quietly and find their seats, waiting silently for instruction.

After a brief introduction and demonstration, students work quietly at their tables.

At the end of the class, I will announce the cleanup directions. All students are required to clean up the materials properly and efficiently. Students will be dismissed to the line.





Extra Help:

Extra help can be arranged on a individual basis.
